I was mesmerized by the beautiful ombre colours in the pan. Well, as long as it has an ombre colour effect, I’m usually sold. It was love at first sight with the Keyvn Aucoin Neo Bronzer but I resisted for a while given the price tag. Resistance is of course futile in the end. Kevyn Aucoin Neo Bronzer is described as an innovation three-in-one face palette that has everything you need to achieve a beautiful sun-kissed skin. It has a highlighter, blush and bronzer housed in one big pan. These are available in 2 colours:
I’m a coral blush kinda-gal and without a doubt, I went for Sienna. Got mine from Cult Beauty at around £38 after deduction of UK sales tax since this is an international order. If I’m didn’t calculate wrongly, this is actually a few bucks cheaper compared to getting this from US beauty site where the RRP is US$58. Small savings but big on thrill. Woohoo! Have I also mentioned that this is the first KA product I ever owned? The Neo Bronzer comes in a beautiful burgundy case with a nice big mirror. Simple and elegant packaging. I’m glad there was no extra space built in to accommodate a brush cos that would make the product too bulky. According to the product description, you can choose to apply the powders individually or swirl a fluffy brush across all of them to apply to face. My preferred way is to apply individually. I don’t want to mix and mess up all the ombre effect in the pan; and I can’t imagine the effect of blending all 3 colours together. I don’t want hints of blush all over my face. Let's talk about the individual powder:
The palette is great for travelling too. Instead of packing 3 separate items (a highlighter, bronzer and blush), all you need is just this one palette that takes up much lesser space in your luggage. There is so much to love about this product. Lovely shade, finely milled powder and good pigmentation. On top of all these goodness, it is also paraben, sulfate and phthalates free. In terms of the downside, this kicks off quite a bit of excess powder. The other is of course the hefty price tag and with the wave of new face palettes storming into the market, likely you’ll find something decent at a more affordable price point. Have you tried Kevyn Aucoin Neo Bronzer? Or are there other 3-in-1 palettes you enjoy? Would love to hear your thoughts on these. Thanks for reading! :)
